The Torus Group prides itself on being at the coal face of innovation, providing automated metrology solutions for internationally renowned names like Coca-Cola, Rolls-Royce and GlaxoSmithKline

In its research and development (R&D) facility, to help meet the stringent demands of its aerospace, medical and packaging industry clients, 3D printing has become an indespensable technology.

Like many successful companies utilising additive manufacturing, however, Torus realised that to stay ahead of its competitors it needed to take its on-site capabilities to the next level – and that’s when it discovered SYS Systems.

The Torus Group decided to trade in their current 3D printer, the Objet30 Pro and upgraded to the Objet260 Connex3. The Connex3 has allowed Torus to print off fixturing for difficult-to-handle components, further expanding its capabilities for top-level metrology performance.
